Some training providers offer courses at a basic low fee, and then charge additional hidden fees / costs to turnaround course assessments in a quicker timeframe, re-assess incorrect answers submitted by the student, and promptly process and generate certificates.

At Owner Builder Centre, we carry out course assessment sessions throughout each day, every day, we provide our training and assessment services until you complete our course, and we then promptly generate your online certificate which you can immediately download and print, at no additional cost or fee to you of any kind.

COMPLETE YOUR WHITE CARD COURSE WITH US

The White Card Course is also a requirement of being an Owner Builder in Queensland. If you have not completed your White Card Course, you can complete it with us.

When you complete our Owner Builder Course, we will provide you with a competitive insurance quote for your particular project through our alliance insurance partner on Construction Works and Public Liability Insurance – the most important insurance you will need as an Owner Builder.

FREE SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Under the Work Health and Safety laws, an Owner Builder has a legal obligation to manage safety risks in a systematic manner, as well as to have a written Site-Specific Management Plan in place when the total value of the work exceeds a certain amount.

All students will receive a FREE 70-page Safety Management System valued at $1,100.00 that has been legally drafted, and designed to assist Owner Builders in complying with safety laws.

The above templates comply with the requirements of the law and can be used multiple times by you as an Owner Builder.

HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

1.  Register your details and make payment
Complete our online enrolment form and make payment online to register.  Upon registration and payment, you will immediately be able to commence the Owner Builder Course and / or White Card Course, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

2.  Complete the Online Course
Our Online Course consists of 2 or 3 different Modules (depending on your state or territory), and you will have instant access to small hints and guidance in answering each and every question, as well as the comprehensive Course Materials for each of the Modules.
The Online Course can be completed within a day through an assessment only pathway, depending on whether you have any previous experience in the building and construction industry.

3.  Your Certificate will be instantly generated online
Once you have successfully completed the Online Course, your Certificate will be instantly generated online for you to immediately access and download.
You will then be able to take our printed certificate along with your White Card to the Government Regulator in your state or territory to obtain your Owner Builder Permit.
