NSW Owner Builder Course Online - Sydney Owner Builder Permit

Our Combined Course Package (White Card + online Owner Builder courses) is designed for individuals who have at least very basic experience in using computers and the internet, and wish to complete both courses in as little time as possible.

With our online Owner Builder Course, you will have unlimited access to the online course materials, you will receive instant 'real time' results for most questions, and the assessment only pathway can be completed in one day. Upon successful completion of the online course, your Certificates will be instantly generated online for you to immediately access and download.

More importantly, once you complete the Owner Builder Course, your Certificate will be valid for life, which means that if you later wish to become an Owner Builder a second or subsequent time, you do not have to re-do the Course again (subject to any changes in the law).

IMPORTANT: The White Card Course is a mandatory safety course covering basic areas of work health and safety in the construction industry. Service NSW will not issue you with an Owner Builder Permit unless you have completed the White Card Course and can produce a White Card (or NSW White Card Seminar certificate) as well as the Owner Builder Course certificate that we issue you with.

In NSW, the White Card Course can only be completed by undergoing a one day face to face seminar (online White Card courses are no longer permitted) with an approved provider, and we can offer the White Card seminar in the locations below:

COVID19 UPDATE: Due to restrictions imposed by the COVID19 pandemic, SafeWork NSW have temporarily permitted the White Card Course to be delivered by Virtual Seminar, which allows you to connect into a live Virtual Seminar and complete the White Card Course from home using a computer with internet access and a webcam.

If you choose to undergo the White Card Course by Virtual Seminar, you will need a computer with internet access and a webcam, as well as a hard hat, eye and ear protection, a dust mask and a high-viz safety vest at the time of the Virtual Seminar (you can purchase these items from Bunnings).

If you select the Virtual Seminar option, we will place you into a session with our training partner on a date selected by you, and the Virtual Seminar option will incur an additional $86 fee.

Seminar dates, availabilities and start / finish times will vary, depending on your location.

Upon registering online, you will be able to select and secure your place in a White Card seminar on your preferred date / location.
