NSW Owner Builder Course

The NSW Owner Builder Course of five (5) units of competency grouped into three Modules:

Module 1 - Work Health & Safety

CPCCWHS2001 - Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry

Module 2 -Drawings, Estimating & Cash Flow

CPCCCM2001 - Read and interpret plans and specifications

CPCCCM1011A - Undertake basic estimating and costing

Module 3 - Managing the Work

CPCCCM1013 - Plan and organise work

CPCCCM1014 - Conduct workplace communication

Note: Home owners who intend to apply for an Owner Builder Permit must also have completed the OHS Unit CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (sometimes known as the 'Green or White Card' course), from any state across Australia. If you also need to complete the White Card course, you can do so with us.

Upon successful completion of our Online Course, your Certificate will INSTANTLY be generated online for you to print out and take to a NSW Fair Trading Centre to obtain your Owner Builder Permit (this usually takes 20-30 minutes over the counter).

More importantly, once you complete the Online Course, your Certificate will be valid for life, which means that if you later wish to become an Owner Builder a second or subsequent time, you do not have to re-do the Course again (subject to any changes in the law).
